Dr. Levine is a nationally recognized expert in wound care and pressure ulceration. and has published and spoken widely on this topic. He is a Board Member of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP). Dr. Levine's Pocket Guide to Pressure Ulcers co-authored by Elizabeth Ayello RN and published by the New Jersey Hospital Association is in its 4th printing and has sold over 30,000 copies.

Edited by Jeffrey Levine and published in 2003, this book was designed as a reference source for attorneys and the general public on the topic of federal regulation and how it impacts on nursing home care.  This law is called the Nursing Home Reform Act, also known as the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation act of 1987, and is cited as the Chapter 42 of the Code of Federal Regulations (42 CFR §483.25).

This book goes over the nursing home regulations and provides the reader with requirements in clinical practice that relate directly to the law.  Chapers cover the survey process, resident assessment and care planning, understaffing in nursing homes, pain management, bed safety, physical restraints, and more.

Dr. Jeffrey M. Levine has authored numerous articles on topics related to healthcare of the elderly. These include medical history, prevention and treatment of chronic wounds such as pressure ulcers, elder neglect and abuse, and physical restraints.
